Sylvain Prudhomme was born in 1979 and spent his childhood in several African countries (Cameroon, Burundi, Nigeria, etc.) before studying literature in Paris. He has worked in investigative journalism and has written seven novels. Among them, “Là, avait dit Bahi” has won the prix Louis-Guilloux, “Les Grands” the Révélation française de l’année 2014 of the magazine “Lire” and the Prix Georges Brassens, while “On the Streets” was awarded the Prix Femina 2019.
