Ifigeneia Botouropoulou is an emeritus professor at the Department of History of French Culture at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research fields are the intercultural relations between Greece and France and the movement of ideas on issues of History and Art. She has authored numerous scientific studies in Greek and international journals, conference proceedings, and books. Since 2014 she has participated in the program of the Center National de la Recherche Scientifique of France “Institut des Textes et Manuscrits (ITEM) – Groupe Renan” for the transcription and digitalization of all the manuscripts of Ernest Renan kept in the National Library of Paris.
