At the same time, she worked as a secretary in various companies until 1990, when the newspaper “Kathimerini” hired her as a proofreader. From 1995 she moved to the Cultural Department of the same journal, where she remained until 2016, covering the book and theater columns. At the same time, she collaborated with other magazines (Anti, O Politis, Diavazo, To Pontiki, Tram, Books’ Journal, etc.). From 2016 until today, she collaborated with cultural sites (Monopoli.gr, artplay.gr), and since the fall of 2018, she holds the theater column at popaganda.gr. From 2017 and for about a year, she collaborated with amagi.gr, a quality web radio.

She has published the book “Bookmarks” (2002), capitalizing her vast collection of bookmarks, which in the meantime she donated to the National Library of Greece.

A retrospective journey through time, a graceful and simultaneously stochastic recall of events, faces, and moments from Olga Sella’s twenty-year trip in the press field. The author gets dazzled, fascinated, and tested, strives, and gets discouraged, demystified, and matures in the exciting but demanding and often restive environment of a newspaper. And she observes, with all her senses alert, the complex and sensitive area of culture, to find the balance between the event, its background, its overt and covert intentions, and to capture, behind the surface, the essence of the work and the contribution of its people.
