Kyriakos Rokos was born in Ioannina in May 1945.. He is a sculptor and professor emeritus of the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art of the University of West Attica. He studied with a scholarship from I.K.Y. sculpture in Athens School of Fine Arts with teacher Giannis Pappas. He continued in Paris for four years with a scholarship from the Athens Academy. He worked close to the sculptor Costas Koulentianos/ Costas Coulentianos and at the École des Beaux-Arts in César’s workshop. Since 1972 he has made 40 individual exhibitions in Greece and abroad. He has taken part in many group and international exhibitions. He participates in many Greek and international Outdoor Sculpture Symposiums. He has created medals and honorary plaques. He has received awards and distinctions for his work. He collaborated with the Art Theater of Karolos Koun, the National Theatre, and the Regional Theatre of Ioannina and participated in Art Congress. His works are exhibited in Museums, Art Galleries, private collections, and outdoors.

Since 1975 his texts have been published in newspapers and magazines. In addition, he has published the books: “Drawings” (1972), “Prints 1967-1975” (1978), “Travels with a Ballpoint Pen” (ΑPIVITA, 1994), “A Dangerous Sculptor” (Kastaniotis Publ., 1996), “Sculpture in Public View” (2002), “31 Drawings and 1 sculpture are looking for a Poet” (2005), “The Butterfly of Insenborn” (Kastaniotis Publ., 2008), “Stainless Travels” (Foundation Katsaris Publ., 2008), “From the Organic Cultivation Thought-Fields” (Prefecture of Piraeus, 2009).
