Aurélie Jean was born in 1982 and studied in France (Sorbonne, ENS, Mines ParisTech) and in the USA (MIT). A researcher and entrepreneur (founder and CEO of the computer company In Silico Veritas), Jean has developed algorithms applicable to many scientific disciplines and teaches Algorithmic Science at the university. Operating in a predominantly male-dominated world, a militant feminist, she has been working for years to eliminate gender inequalities and discrimination in science and technology. She is a regular contributor to Le Point magazine.
