Jérôme Ferrari is a French writer born in 1968 in Paris, of Corsican descent. He is a professor of philosophy and teaches at the Giocante de Casabianca High School in Bastia. His main works are Un Dieu, un animal (2009), Où j’ai laissé mon âme (2010). In 2012 he was awarded the Prix Goncourt for his novel Le Sermon Sur la chute de Rome (“The Sermon on the Fall of Rome”). His novel “In His Own Image” won the Le Monde Newspaper 2019 Prize for Literature and, among other things, received the 2019 Méditerranée Prize.
