Bill Beverly was born in 1965 and grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He studied at the Oberlin College and at the University of Florida. His research on fugitive criminals and the stories accompanying them was published as a book titled On The Lam: Narratives of Flight in J.Edgar Hoover’s America. He teaches American Literature and writing at the Trinity University in Washington, DC.
